Some History on these designs
BEX has always focused on die struck production, so this is something new and fun for us to be involved in. We've collaborated with MK Barz & Buillion to create these fun hand poured and stamped 999 1 oz and 2 oz. Betty Boop hearts.
The last time these dies were used to stamp silver was pre 1995, prior to when we bought the original Golden State Mint.
These dies were a standard catalog design, available in 1 oz and 1/2 oz die struck weights. The original catalog pieces were die struck with a standard 'For Someone Special' reverse design. During the late 70s, throughout the 80s, these were a popular collectible.. I haven't seen any in circulations for a very very long time, so if you happen across any - grab them while you can!
I purchased a Betty Boop silver coin. I am pleased with my purchase. It have a great vintage design.
